Out garland brought a woman 12 million

A resident of the US city of Yorktown, Virginia, claims that the burnt-out garland brought her a big win in the lottery. The UPI portal reports.

Phyllis Houston was decorating the Christmas tree and noticed that last year’s garland was out of order. She drove to the Home Depot for a new piece of jewelry, and on the way back she dropped by the supermarket and grabbed some lottery tickets.

The ticket with a combination of numbers 10-17-18-34-38 was the winning one – Houston received 171.7 thousand dollars (12.7 million rubles). “I can’t believe it, – the winner admits. – It’s so great!” She has not yet decided how she will spend the prize money.

Earlier, a resident of the American state of Virginia hit a jackpot in the lottery due to a sudden desire to drink chocolate cocktail. As a result, a ticket with a combination of numbers 3-12-17-18-31 brought the man 564 thousand dollars (almost 42 million rubles at the current exchange rate).
