Royal biographer Penny Junor tells how the British queen will spend Christmas Elizabeth II and her grandson Prince Harry , reports the Daily Express.
“I’m sure the Queen will be very sad that she won’t see Harry, Meghan, or her youngest great-great-grandson,” Junor says. Prince Harry, his wife Meghan Markle and their son Archie will not be able to meet her in person, as they will celebrate the holiday in the United States.
The expert believes that Harry will celebrate Christmas in accordance with the traditions that his wife has adhered to since childhood. “But I’m sure they’ll call the royal family on Zoom at some point,” she suggested.
For a prince, the first Christmas without a family will also be difficult. “Harry gets along well with his cousins,” Junor says. “I would imagine he would miss them. And, of course, he will miss the opportunity to spend time with his adored grandmother.”
Since April 1, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ceased to act as members of the British royal family. To get the right to move to the USA, work and do business, they had to refuse from Your Royal Highness appeal, government funding and the Sussex Royal brand. In September, Harry and Megan signed an agreement with the video service Netflix have returned £ 2.4 million spent on renovating their British residence and achieved financial independence from the royal family.
