The nutritionist said that a well-known folk remedy for a hangover – cucumber pickle – will not help with symptoms, but only put a strain on the kidneys. Duvall noted that a hearty breakfast will not bring relief either.

The doctor summed up that the main task after the party is to restore the supply of vitamins and minerals in the body. For those who cannot eat at all, she advised to drink a protein shake of plant origin. Duval recommended pumpkin or hemp protein, as they contain not only protein, but also a large amount of vitamins and minerals in the cocktail.
