Ukraine has reported an outbreak of a dangerous avian influenza virus in the south of the country. This was reported by RIA Novosti citing the World Organization for Animal Health.
The outbreak was recorded by experts at a private poultry farm in the village of Kandybino, Nikolaev region. At the courtyard, ten poultry were infected and died, the cause was the H5N1 flu serotype.
The information was transmitted by the Ukrainian side to the international organization on Saturday, December 5.
