A traitor from Mandaue, Philippines, tried to hide on the ceiling of a room in a cheap hotel from an angry husband who caught her with her lover, reports The Sun.
The Filipina husband returned home after several months working on an oil rig overseas. He was upset when he noticed that his wife was acting aloof. The woman began to leave the house often on weekends. She explained this by the fact that she urgently needed to go to the office where she works as an accountant.
On Sunday, November 29, the woman once again allegedly went to work. The husband decided to follow her taxi. She landed in front of a cheap motel and met a young man.
The deceived spouse called a friend and asked him to help, and he reported what was happening to the police. The hotel staff did not let her husband inside until the police arrived at the scene. Clarifies that adultery is a criminal offense in the Philippines.
The woman’s alleged lover was detained while trying to leave the building. When the police broke into the room, they saw that there was no one there, and the woman’s clothes were scattered on the floor. Shortly thereafter, a woman’s boot fell from the ceiling.
It turned out that the woman tried to hide in the cavity above the ceiling. The police brought in a ladder to remove it from there. Despite the persuasion of the law enforcement officers employees, she refused to get off the ceiling. Only female police officers were able to convince her to descend.
After almost half an hour, they were able to take the woman to the police station together with her husband, who intends to sue her and her lover. If proven guilty, the unfaithful wife will face up to six years in prison, in accordance with local treason laws.
