More than 300 people have contracted an unknown disease in India, reports The Hindu.
Doctors in Andhra Pradesh reported that one person died as a result of infection, another 315 Indians were admitted to hospitals with similar symptoms. According to the doctors, patients experience fainting, dizziness, headache and epileptic symptoms. All Indians admitted to medical institutions tested negative for coronavirus. Local authorities noted that the massive contamination could have occurred as a result of air pollution or due to the consumption of poor-quality food.
Earlier in Senegal, more than 200 fishermen contracted a mysterious disease that they caught in the Atlantic Ocean. It is noted that patients become covered with scabs, itch strongly and complain of swollen lips and eye irritation.
