The chefs who created the Ugly Pickle Co. brand said that ingredients such as offal, stale vegetables and fruits, and waste grains will be used in the preparation of the dish. They noted that they call their product “trash pies”.
According to pizza producers, their project aims to keep food waste in daily life to a minimum and help local farms. It is noted that the dish will be served in one of the city’s restaurants.
