US Decides Not To Extend TikTok Sale Deadline

The US authorities have decided not to extend the deadline for the sale of the US segment of TikTok. According to Reuters , citing sources, Washington does not rule out the continuation of negotiations with the Chinese ByteDance.

However, the information on the timing has not yet been officially confirmed: the White House declined to comment on this, and ministries of justice and commerce did not respond to the agency’s request. But sources Reuters indicated that the decision was made personally by the president Donald Trump .
