Lack of stress also has a positive effect on life expectancy. Happy people reduce their risk of premature death by nearly four percent, according to researchers.
Experts studied the lifestyles of 1507 men and 832 women between 1988 and 2000.
Earlier, scientists from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences and Technology revealed that intensive training within five years are an effective way to improve health, improve quality of life and slow down aging. The program was attended by about seven thousand volunteers, whose age reached 70-77 years.
