In the British town of Wrexham in the north of Wales, dogs accidentally strangled their owner. The Daily Mail reports.
The incident occurred when 47-year-old Deborah Mary Roberts took her pets for a morning walk: two Staffordshire Bull Terriers named Tyson and Ruby. She was later found dead. The woman lay face down on the ground, and the dogs whined and pulled at the leashes tied around her neck.
During the coroner’s investigation, it turned out that Roberts often hung leashes around her neck when she let the dogs run. Probably, during the walk, the woman fell and could not get up. This may be due to the fact that she suffered from Huntington’s disease, often accompanied by impaired coordination of movements. The dogs, trying to help the owner, began to pull on the leashes and tightened them around her neck.
In October last year it was reported that in the US state of Oklahoma a Labrador was shot into a woman with a pistol. The bullet hit the woman’s left thigh.
