Best camera smartphone named

Video blogger Marques Brownlee named Asus ZenFone 7 Pro the best camera smartphone in a blind test. The corresponding video is available on the YouTube blogger’s channel.

As part of the testing that Brownlee conducts annually, the author selected 16 smartphones from various manufacturers released in 2020. The list includes devices from Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei, OnePlus, Asus, LG, Google a >, Sony, Microsoft , Oppo and Motorola. The blogger divided the devices into pairs and took the same photo on the camera of each device. Brownlee then uploaded the images to his Twitter with 4.4 million followers and invited users to blindly vote for each photo.

The blogger noted that following the results of the first round of voting, top smartphones from OnePlus, Google, Microsoft, LG, Oppo, Xiaomi, as well as the current flagship iPhone 12 Pro Max, took off from the test. Four devices remained in the semifinals – Huawei Mate 40 Pro, Asus ZenFone 7 Pro, Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra and Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra.

In the final vote, the flagship Asus won, overtaking its rival Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra with 54 percent of the votes. In conclusion, the blogger noted that each photo was taken in automatic mode and was not post-processed.

In 2019, Marquez Brownlee conducted a similar test, following the results of which the best camera phone of the year was the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+. The device reached the final of blind voting, ahead of the Samsung Galaxy S10e.
