A 300-kilogram fat man who lay on floor for a year was pulled out by a crane

In the French city of Perpignan, a 300-kg fat man was removed from his house with a crane, who had been lying on the floor of his room for more than a year. The Daily Mail reports.

More than 50 people participated in the operation, including firefighters, police officers and doctors. It took several weeks to prepare it. To avoid the collapse of the historic building, it was reinforced with metal supports, lampposts were removed from the street, and residents were evacuated.

Through the disassembled window, the man was carried to a cradle behind the wall. Then a hundred-ton crane lowered her into a special bed set up in front of the house, which, in turn, was loaded onto an ambulance.

In July 2019, 53-year-old Alain Panabière, weighing 300 kilograms, fell in his room and broke his leg. From then on, he remained on the floor and became so fat that he stopped walking through the door. All this time he was fed and washed by his brother, whose name is Jean-Claude.

In 2016 it was reported that the fattest man in Colombia was taken to the clinic to reduce weight on a fire truck. A 400-kilogram resident of the city of Palmyra was loaded into a car by 20 men.
