In Odessa, relatives of those infected with the coronavirus stormed hospital No. 5, trying to break through. This was reported on Thursday, December 3, by UNIAN .
Volunteers posted shocking photos of the clinic on the Internet. It was reported that patients die in common wards due to a lack of doctors, lack of oxygen, the bodies of the deceased lie next to living people for several hours.
This angered the relatives of the patients who tried to break through, hand over medicines and see their loved ones. The doctors had to turn to the National Guard for help. The hospital was taken under guard.
The clinic staff said that there are not enough workers, primarily resuscitators. The head of the medical unit wrote a letter of resignation.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 772,760 coronavirus infected have been identified. 12,960 patients died, 384,426 were cured. There are a number of quarantine restrictions in the country. The authorities do not rule out the introduction of a full lockdown.
