The number of people infected with coronavirus in Iran has exceeded one million. This was told by the official representative of Ministry of Health of the country Sima Sadat Lari, quoted by Reuters .
The total number of people infected has reached 1,003,494. Sima Sadat Lari stressed that over the past 24 hours, 13,922 new cases of infection were detected in the country.
At the end of October, Iranian health authorities recognized the death of one person from coronavirus every four minutes. It is noted that some hospitals have run out of beds to treat new patients. One death is shown on TV every four minutes, and authorities complain about poor social distancing.
