Woman lost 40 kilograms and told about secret of losing weight

A British woman from South Wales, who was overweight, spoke about how she managed to lose 40 kilograms, reports the Wales Online website.

33-year-old Lisa Davies-Read (Lisa Davies-Read) believes that she has grown fat because of work, which interfered with regular meals and taught her to fast food. The woman realized that she needed to do something when she began to weigh 103 kilograms. Her ankles began to swell from walking, and she became short of breath on the stairs. She stopped seeing friends and shopping, although she used to love shopping.

A sister advised Davis-Reed to join Slimming World, a weight loss support group. There she was advised to eat less sweets and fatty foods. “I can still eat whatever I like, but with minor changes: for example, instead of regular butter, I use something less greasy,” she explains her secret.

The new diet helped her lose her first 19 kilograms. Then the coronavirus pandemic began, a lockdown was introduced in the UK, and Slimming World meetings were moved online. Davis-Reid took the opportunity to take up the Couch to 5K running program. Now she weighs 63.2 kilograms, but she plans to lose another four kilograms.

Earlier it was reported that a resident of the English city of Wallingford, Oxfordshire, hiding dependence on fast food from friends, managed to get rid of bad eating habits and lost 44 kilograms without going to the gym. She put a calorie counter on her phone and gradually reduced her calorie intake to 1200 calories a day.
