Former French President dies

Former French President Valerie Giscard d’Estaing has died at the age of 94. This was announced on Thursday, December 3, by the radio station “Europe 1”.

The politician was admitted to a French hospital in mid-November due to heart failure. The Elysee Palace and the ex-president’s family have not yet confirmed the message.

Giscard d’Estaing served as President of France from 1974 to 1981.
