The possible origin of the murder weapon of nuclear physicist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh in Iran has been revealed. Iranian TV channel Press TV writes about this, citing sources.
Parts of the weapon used in the murder show that it was made in Israel. In particular, this is indicated by its logo, as well as the specifications of the Israeli military industry. The Iranian Defense Ministry also allegedly received new information about the identity of the criminals, this information “will be released very soon.”
Fakhrizadeh headed the research and innovation department of the Iranian Defense Ministry and was one of the founders of the country’s nuclear program. On Friday, November 27, it turned out that he became a victim of a terrorist attack in the populated point Absard near Tehran. First, a suicide bomber was blown up there, then the scientist’s car was fired upon.
The next day, the American special services accused Israel of the murder of Fakhrizade. At the same time, it is unclear whether the United States was aware of the impending operation to eliminate the researcher. The White House and the CIA declined to comment on the matter. The commander-in-chief of the Iranian army, Seyed Abdol-Rahim Mousavi, called Israel and the United States involved in the murder of the scientist. The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu does not comment on the situation.
