Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said that the death of Iranian nuclear physicist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh was caused by a conspiracy of Israel, the United States and Saudi Arabia.

Earlier, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran Ali Shamkhani stated that the murder of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh involved the government of Israel and the Israeli intelligence service “Mossad”. He said that the elimination of the physicist was a technically difficult operation: the performers controlled the weapon remotely, using satellite communications, and were not present at the scene of the attack. However, according to Shamkhani, the investigation was able to identify those responsible for the attack, and they are associated with the Jewish state.
On the death of Fakhrizada, who headed the Research and Innovation Department Ministry of Defense Iran and was one of the founders of the country’s nuclear program, became known on November 27. It was reported that he was the victim of a terrorist attack in the village of Absard near Tehran. Initially, it was noted that a suicide bomber was involved in the attack on the scientist.
