In Berdyansk, a group of teenagers set fire to their peer to record a video for social networks. This was reported at website of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in the Zaporozhye region.
The incident occurred at approximately 01:00 on November 29th. Friends poured a 12-year-old boy with flammable liquid and set fire to the apartment. The whole process was filmed by the teenagers. The victim said that he volunteered to do so because the whole company was trying to make a “cool” video.
The teenagers explained that they hoped only for fire, without burns. They ended up putting out a friend in the bathroom and taking him home.
Now a 12-year-old resident of Berdyansk is in intensive care, where he was taken with burns of varying degrees – his body was damaged by 30 percent.
On the fact of arson, the police initiated criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 122 (“Intentional bodily injury of moderate severity”) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
