During unauthorized protests in Belarus, more than 300 protesters were detained. This was announced by the Viasna Human Rights Center on its website .
As of 21:55, there are 348 names in the center’s list. According to human rights activists, most of the detentions were in Minsk, but they were also carried out in Vitebsk, Brest, Grodno, Lida, Zhodino, Lyakhovichi, Borovlyany, Lesnoy, Korobchitsy, Smolevichi. Some of the protesters have already been released.
During a protest action in Minsk, a member of the main composition of the Coordination Council, economist Dmitry Kruk was detained . The center also includes journalists. Protest actions in Belarus began in August, after the announcement of the results of the presidential elections, the winner of which was declared Alexander Lukashenko .
