A woman from the American state of Illinois became pregnant at 62, according to WCRZ.
Kathy Blattner, 62, and her second husband, John Blattner, were married when both were in their 40s. To have a baby, they used in vitro fertilization (IVF). The egg donor was Katy’s cousin. A few years later, they wanted a second child and again used IVF. This time the donor was Katy’s daughter from her first marriage.
Now the first son of Katie and John is 12 years old, and the second is two years old. Their third child is expected to be born in April 2021. His biological mother will again be daughter Katie from her first marriage, who is now also pregnant.
In April it was reported that a resident of Nigeria gave birth to twins at 68 years after 43 years of trying to have a baby. The woman underwent in vitro fertilization four times, but only the last one was successful.
