The Minister of Health of Ukraine Maxim Stepanov said that since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic in the country, about 34 thousand health workers have resigned, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Sometimes doctors, after being fired, got a job in other hospitals. “Therefore, we will be able to do this analysis on all statistical data when the corresponding year ends, when it will be possible to fully compare and see how much has completely left the health care system,” Stepanov said.
The Minister added that it is necessary to analyze the main reasons for the dismissal of doctors. He noted that the work of doctors in Ukraine remains underestimated.
Earlier it became known that Ukraine set a new record for the number of cases of coronavirus identified in the last day. As of November 26, this figure was 15331.
Interior Minister Arsen Avakov said that the country must immediately introduce lockdown for three to four weeks. According to him, the government is already addressing this issue.
