Trump announces coronavirus vaccination in United States

US President Donald Trump has announced the start of coronavirus vaccination. He stated this during a video conference with US servicemen abroad, reports TASS .

According to the American leader, the distribution of the vaccine to the most vulnerable groups – emergency workers, senior citizens, doctors and nurses – will begin next week. He stressed that a large number of people will receive the drug from COVID-19. “The whole world is suffering from this pandemic, not only us, the whole world. We are overcoming the [growth] curve,” concluded the owner of the White House.

Earlier, Trump named the date for the appearance of the American vaccine against COVID-19 in a wide access. He promised that the drug will become available to the United States population next April. Vaccine Advisor to the Administration of the incumbent President Moncef Sloughi claimed that the first vaccines will be made 11 or December 12th.

The United States remains the leader in terms of the number of people infected with coronavirus. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 12.8 million infected have been identified in the country, 260 thousand patients have died. In total, more than 60 million cases of the disease have been recorded in the world, 1.4 million people have died.
