A millionaire who is suspected of financial fraud has gone missing in Australia. According to the Daily Mail, the police are considering the version that the entrepreneur secretly escaped.
49-year-old Melissa Caddick left her home in Sydney around 5:30 am on November 12. Her husband, DJ Anthony Koletti (Anthony Koletti) thought that she went for a run, but later found that the Australian did not bring her phone. According to him, she never left home without a mobile.
However, the Australian reported to the police about the mysterious disappearance of his wife only on November 13. Coletti appeared at the hearing in the case of his wife’s financial fraud in her place. Court officials said he must report her disappearance.
Coletti and friends of the disappeared assure that Caddick could not leave the family without warning. However, the police think otherwise: on the eve of the disappearance, her house was searched. Also on November 12, the home video surveillance system was turned off.
Law enforcement officers searched all the neighborhoods of the house and found no trace of the entrepreneur. Police are concerned that there has been no news of Caddick for over two weeks and suspect that something may have happened to her. All documents, laptops and folders were seized from her house in the hope of finding the cause of the incident. The neighbors were unable to report anything about the Australian woman, as the family kept apart: their family was the only one who did not enter the local WhatsApp chat.
Prior to the loss, the court forbade Caddick to leave the country, sell, mortgage or alienate any property and transfer money from her 17 bank accounts to offshore. Also, by a court decision, the entrepreneur had to provide a list of people who keep deposits with her company. If she refused to comply with the requirements, she was threatened with imprisonment and confiscation of property.
