A teenage girl from Newport, South Wales, consulted a doctor with back pain and unexpectedly gave birth in a hospital toilet, reports the publication Yahoo! Lifestyle.
Dion Seaborne, an 18-year-old employee of Burger King fast food restaurant, suffered from pain for several days. She assumed that she had injured her back at work and consulted a doctor.
The medic left the waitress at the hospital for further examination. At three o’clock in the morning, Seaborn wanted to use the toilet. There she unexpectedly gave birth to a daughter. The girl turned out to be absolutely healthy, the Welsh woman named her Lilly-May.
“I called the nurse for help, because I could not reach the emergency call button, and at that moment Lilly-May was in the toilet. The nurses took her out and took her to clean up,” she said young mother.
Seaborn called her 18-year-old lover Callum Morris. He arrived at the hospital after waking up his mother and informing her of the birth of her daughter. “You should have seen his face. He never stopped smiling, said he loved her and hugged her,” Seaborn said.
The Welsh woman stressed that she had no symptoms of pregnancy, and it even seemed to her that she had lost weight before giving birth. “My periods continued, so it never crossed my mind that I might be pregnant. I felt fine,” she said. The girl added that she is lucky that she rarely drinks alcohol.
