At the Yu.A. Gagarin, the two-day State exam for a group of candidates for test cosmonauts set in 2018 has ended.
Today, November 25, 2020, the final test at the end of the general space training course was held by Sergey Mikayev, Kirill Peskov, Oleg Platonov and Evgeny Prokopyev. A day earlier, the State Examination was held for candidates for cosmonauts Konstantin Borisov, Alexander Gorbunov, Alexander Grebenkin Sergeevich and Alexei Zubritsky.
The decision on awarding the test cosmonaut title will be made at a meeting of the Interdepartmental Qualification Commission (IQC) to assess the training of candidates for test cosmonauts in the 2018 set.
