Police break up a sex party in an underground swing club

Police in New York dispersed a sex party for swingers for violating the quarantine regime imposed by COVID-19. The New York Post reports.

The police station received 311 complaints about the activities of an underground swing club. The patrolmen examined the establishment and found three couples having sex in one of the rooms. The rest of the people were in the common room: they drank alcohol, listened to music and talked. There were more than 80 people in the institution, despite the government’s ban on holding mass events.

The club manager was fined one thousand dollars (76 thousand rubles) for not following the recommendations of the authorities, as well as 15 thousand dollars (1.1 million rubles) for not having a license to sell alcohol. According to police, the institution announced its closure on March 15, but resumed operations in the summer. The club hosted massive parties with DJs weekly.

Police detained one of the club’s visitors – 47-year-old Jennifer Hayes. She claims that the patrol officers mocked and made fun of the crowd at the club. “They kept me there for four hours,” she says. “They kept asking me how long I have been working there … But I didn’t work there. I just wanted to dance and listen to the DJ, and that’s all! There is nowhere else to go in the city. Everything is closed.” .

In a photograph released by the police, there were four beds and a black leather sofa in a small room. There was a basket full of condoms and a trash can on the floor.
