Representatives of the Federal Corporation for the Development of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses (SME Corporation) held a strategic session in the Tula region dedicated to the implementation of measures of state support for small and medium-sized companies. The event was held in an online format.
“Small business makes a significant contribution to the development of the economy of the Tula region. We use all forms of its support, actively cooperate with federal development institutions. The SME Corporation is our reliable partner. Together we lay a solid foundation for the economic stability of the region. Today, more than 410 small and medium-sized businesses in the region have already received financial support from the Corporation and SME Bank, which made it possible to attract 10.4 billion rubles of loans for the implementation of projects of entrepreneurs. I hope that these projects will be successfully implemented and will contribute to the socio-economic development of the region “, – said the Governor of the Tula Region Alexey Dyumin .
Funding by SMEs is carried out within the framework of the national guarantee system at interest rates 2-3 percentage points lower than market conditions. In particular, SME Bank , a subsidiary bank of the SME Corporation, financed projects of SMEs in Tula region worth over 4.5 billion rubles, with about 70 percent of lending accounted for agriculture and agricultural processing.
“SME Bank actively finances enterprises in the Tula region. During the pandemic, we supported companies in the region in the amount of about 100 million rubles, which helped to save almost a thousand jobs. Today, within the framework of the strategic session, two projects that we plan to finance are presented, both represent the agricultural industry, which is the leader in the bank’s loan portfolio in the Tula region in terms of the number of loans issued, “said Roman Kapinos, Deputy Chairman of the Board of SME Bank.
Within the framework of the strategic session, three new investment projects were presented. These projects can be financially supported by the Corporation and SME Bank. The company “EGNYSHEVSKIE SADY” plans to attract financing to create an industrial blueberry plantation. LLC “Innovative Enterprise Nova” presented a project for the construction of a plant for the production of plastic goods for children. The company “ZAIKO” needs financing to create a rabbit farm with a full production cycle. The total investment in these projects may exceed 619 million rubles, the business plans envisage the creation of 322 new jobs.
