The original iPhone SE will not receive the new iOS version, reports The Verifier.
According to sources, a new version of the OS scheduled for 2021 from Apple will be received by everyone Face ID smartphones ranging from iPhone X to iPhone 12. iOS 15 will also be available on iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, and the seventh generation iPod Touch. The journalists noticed that the next version of the operating system will support the iPhone SE released in spring 2020, but the original model of the device will remain without support.

In particular, in 2018, the portal clearly noticed that the iPhone 5s and iPhone 6 will not receive iOS 12. In the summer of 2020, the publication guessed the forecast regarding iOS 14, saying that all smartphones that supported iOS 13 will receive the new OS.
The announcement of the new iOS is expected in the summer, the operating system will appear on Apple devices in the fall of 2021. The original iPhone SE was unveiled in March 2016.
