Cashier’s mistake brought woman 7.6 million rubles

A resident of the American city of Chesterfield, Missouri, hit the jackpot thanks to a cashier’s mistake, according to UPI.

Paige Nelson was going to buy an instant lottery ticket from the store. By mistake, the cashier did not give her the ticket she asked for. However, the American decided to buy it.

The ticket brought Nelson the first prize of 100 thousand dollars (7.6 million rubles). “I couldn’t believe it. I started jumping and screaming,” she said.

Representatives of the lottery noted that there are still two first prizes remaining in this game.

Earlier it was reported that a resident of the American city of Detroit, Michigan, ripped off a lottery jackpot after being sold the wrong ticket. The seller offered to exchange it, but something told the American to keep it.
