During the protests, demonstrators in Trokader Square began throwing firecrackers and bottles at police officers, as well as burning bonfires in the middle of the road. After that, the police used special equipment, including gas canisters.

As a result of the dispersal of the demonstration, 23 people were detained, one law enforcement officer was slightly injured, according to the Parisian police in their Twitter .

Protests in France began after the deputies of the National Assembly supported the article of the bill “On Global Security”. It criminalizes the dissemination of images of a police person or other identifying element of a police or gendarme officer with the intent to harm him. The bill provides for this punishment in the form of one year of imprisonment and a fine of 45 thousand euros.
