Internet archive launched search engine of scientific articles

Internet archive (Archive.org) was launched by the search index “Researcher of the Internet Archive” ( Internet archive scholar ), which has a base of more 25 million scientific articles and documents. The index contains:

  • The public online content saved in the partnership collections The Wayback Machine and Archive -it;
  • Ozifed printed materials, including documents of the 18th century;
  • General materials from Archive collections .org and other partners.

Metadata comes from fatcat.wiki – open edited catalog of scientific works.

According to the creators of the service, they want to provide researchers with access to a complete array for the analysis of texts and data. The obtained data sets can also be published in the public domain, for example, quoting or N-grams.
