We ended up knowing them by heart these twenty-four audio files of conversations intercepted between January 29 and February 26, 2014 on the occult bismuth line used by Nicolas Sarkozy and Thierry Herzog. We heard them on all tones. As a soundtrack, broadcast for the first time, Tuesday, December 6, in the courtroom. In subtitled version, commented, corrected by the former President of the Republic, then by his lawyer and friend during their interrogations. In a single accusation of the two representatives of the public prosecutor in their indictment. And finally, hollowed out, minced, crumbled by the six pleadings of the Lawyers’ lawyers, Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16 December.

By whatever the end that these conversations testify that in 2014, the advisor to the Court of Cassation Gilbert Azibert responded well to the multiple solicitations of his friend Thierry Herzog to find out about a decision that was to take another room from the Court, with regard to the legality of the seizure of the presidential agendas of Nicolas Sarkozy. They also show that Thierry Herzog, who knew that his friend Magistrate was targeting for his retirement an honorary position in Monaco – paid 5,000 euros per year – promised to plead his cause with Nicolas Sarkozy to touch one word to its relations in the principality. They finally say that the former president, at least for a time, committed to rendering this service. Finally, we know that the decision finally rendered by the Court of Cassation was unfavorable to the interests of Nicolas Sarkozy and that Gilbert Azibert did not obtain the post in Monaco.

that’s for certainties. But the three judges of the Paris Court of Appeal take two radically opposite readings in their deliberation of this file. “Clear conversations” for the accusation which alone are enough to prove a chemically pure “corruption pact”. “Conversation by conversation, they contain indices of participation in the violation of corruption and influence traffic,” said General Lawyer Muriel Fusina. “A case of exceptional gravity, one of the most serious under the v e republic, facts that affect the image of our country in the world, ravage and undermine the foundations of our democracy “, commented the lawyer general Yves Micolet, by applicant, Tuesday, December 13, three years in suspended sentence – three years, two of which were suspended at first instance – assorted by five years of prohibition of civil rights for MM. Sarkozy and Azibert and a prohibition of professional practice of the same duration for Mr. Herzog.
