The Blues received a triumphant welcome, Monday, December 19, Place de la Concorde, in Paris, for their return from the World Cup to Qatar. The supporters acclaimed the players and their staff, making forget the defeat of the French team in the final, the day before against Argentina.
The Blues flew from the return on Monday morning, in Qatar, accompanied by the first lady, Brigitte Macron. They arrived at Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle airport around 8 p.m., then went by bus to the Crillon hotel, Place de la Concorde, in Paris.
They were 50,000, according to the prefecture of police, to have surrendered on Monday evening to the Place de la Concorde to acclaim the Blues. After the victory in the final in 2018, nearly 300,000 people had gathered on avenue des Champs-Elysées, during the French team bus.
