Data leakage at Citimobil led to the fact that not only information about the drivers, but also the impersonal phone numbers and the quantitative indicators of the service users were in public access. This was told by RIA Novosti PR-director of the service Ekaterina Zubenina.
On the eve of the Telegram channel “Information leaks” reported that in the public domain on the network was a base of 3.9 million unique passenger phone numbers and 80 thousand – drivers of the Citybir taxi service.
Ekaterina Zubenina said the attackers reached the company’s representatives and threatened to put more advanced information into public access. Within 24 hours, a notification of the case of leakage was sent to Roskomnadzor, as well as within 72 hours from the date of the incident, a letter was sent indicating the measures taken to protect information in accordance with Russian law. In addition, a statement was submitted to the police.
Recall that last week, the passport data of the Citybir service drivers flowed into the network. Hackers from the NLB group published more than four thousand photographs of the first pages of passports.
