December 26 The TON community launched Ton Connect 2.0-an open standard for a safe entering Internet services without logins and passwords, on which the teams of all key Ton pits worked.
According to developers, this is the next stage in the development of the Ton Connect standard in April, which was globally processed and enriched with new important functions.
So, in the Ton Connect 2.0, unlike the first version, there was the possibility of direct interaction with decentralized applications based on Ton. This means that users will be able to connect to mobile and desktop applications, Telegram bots and other Dapps directly through the interface of popular TONs, and the applications connected in this way are fixed in the wallet browser and become available right in the application.
In addition, Ton Connect 2.0 still allows you to undergo an authorization procedure on online platforms in one click, using all the advantages of Web 3.0. Tonkeeper has already supported a new standard, and the rest of the wallets are working on its implementation.
Ton Connect 2.0 SDK documentation, all the necessary guides for the implementation of technology, as well as a description of the updated standard are on site tonkeeper.
