But this does not mean that WhatsApp will completely stop working on these models – the company simply will not support their updates. Thus, errors and other problems can occur over time without any correction. Also, users will not be able to use new WhatsApp functions that will be released.
If your device cannot be updated to the latest version of the OS, you need to buy a new phone to stay in touch. Here is a complete list of models on which WhatsApp will no longer be supported:
