According to the estimates of the National Intelligence Service of South Korea (NIS), over the past five years, North Korean hackers abducted virtual assets worth about 1.2 billion dollars. More than half of this amount ($ 626 million) was stolen this year.

In NIS, they added that more than 78 million dollars from the total amount of the stolen belongs to South Korea.
IB specialists believe that next year the cyber attacks on cryptocurrency industry will be even more, and North Korean APT groups will focus on the theft of South Korean technologies and confidential information about foreign policy and national security of South Korea.
