This is a record figure. In Argentina, inflation is 94.8 % for the year 2022. One of the highest rate in the world, and which had not been reached for thirty-two years in the country.
The December index, published Thursday by the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (Indec), nevertheless has a deceleration relative for a few months, for a peak of 7.4 % in July, spent 6, 3 % in October, and 4.9 % in November. Inflation in Argentina was 50.9 % in 2021. The government hopes to contain it, to limit it to 60 % in 2023.
