Air France and KLM have informed customers to compromise the accounts and disclosure of personal information of many users due to a hacker attack on the Service IT systems responsible for the work of the Flying Blue loyalty program. This was reported by publication Bleeping Compulsiter.
The report says that the attackers became known to the names of millions of passengers, email addresses and telephone numbers, data on the latest transactions, the balance of earned miles, as well as the history of their expenses in the Flying Blue system.
Airline representatives also claim that all bonus miles on customer accounts have been preserved and hacking did not touch on information about user credit cards.
Representatives of the air holding assured that the incident was localized and blocked by regular IB specialists. In addition, the incident was reported to the relevant services and initiated an investigation about a hacker attack and compromising customer data.
