World Economic Forum (WEF) presented a working prototype Global Collaboration Village villages, which will allow organizations to solve pressing world problems in the metavselnaya.
Meterevnya was created in partnership with the company of business consulting Accenture and Microsoft, as well as with 80 leading organizations. Participants from all over the world joined the forum for its first interactive multilateral session in the metavselnaya.
The village is divided into:
- Halls – for sessions or meetings;
- Cooperation centers – for an immersive story in interactive rooms. For example, in a room dedicated to the ocean, participants can discuss how and why it is necessary to protect sea ecosystems;
- campauses of interested parties – for cooperation with partners in order to solve global problems.
Companies around the world will be additionally invited to develop metarevni and participate in immersive spaces over the next few years.
In November 2022, the Chinese government published a development plan for the VR industry and proposed starting research in the field of “simulation of smells” in the virtual space, assuming that the time has come for the development of the so-called “Internet of Smell” iOS).
