The Alta Velocidad Española, competitor of the TGV, will circulate “before summer” on the Barcelona-Lyon and Madrid-Marseille lines, promises the Renfe, the Spanish national railway company, in a statement released on Monday, January 16, without Advance with a specific date. Mayte Castillo, its representative in Catalonia (northeast), announced at the end of December the intention of the Renfe to exercise on the Barcelona-Paris line “in the longer term”.
