Half Barbie, half a scum, Laurie Peret became known in 2018 thanks to 1, 2, 3, sketch a little trashy and singing on childbirth. The humorist, originally from Trappes, closed in November 2022 the tour of his first only-in-my musical food show while waiting for the pension (broadcast since January 11 on Amazon Prime), where she tells her life as a single mother. “A funny, touching and offbeat show, prohibited for minors because when you go out, it’s not to hit the kids of others”, can be read on its site . Mother of a 9 -year -old girl, Laurie Peret writes her new show as well as a film about parenting. We can, while waiting to find her on stage, read her crazy guide to maternity, the little advice from Laurie Peret (Michel Lafon, 2021), to evocative chapter titles: “How to keep your child at the last minute”, “How to make your child respect the rules that you do not follow yourself” or “how to make your shopping an attractive outing”. “There is a real concept and real tips, even if it is mocked,” says the 38 -year -old artist with such communicative laughter.
The first time you felt mother ?
When I bought a cat, before I had a child. He was sleeping with me, he finished my breakfast, we were very fused. Joking aside, I always knew I wanted to be a mother. It’s anchored in me.
Is your daughter a source of inspiration?
Obviously, it is even the first sentence of my show. I try to make sure not to violate her intimacy by not telling about her things too close to reality. She understood that it was a fiction. Sometimes she makes me a valve and said to me: “You should put it in your show.”
Have you ever cried in front of it?
I try to avoid, but I have already cried in front of her because we had argued. She had very hard words towards me. I explained to him that we have responsibilities with our words, that we cannot say everything and anything because it can hurt people.
the worst thing you Have said?
I had a joke when she was 4 or 5 years old; I made him believe that I was not really his mother. She collapsed in two seconds, so I quickly caught up the thing. I come from a family where we have a hard humor, we are merciless between us. But now, this joke about the fact that I am not her real mother has become a gimmick between us.
