In Russia, police use the digital service “Personal Account of the Law Enforcement Authority”, which helps to identify unscrupulous owners of cryptocurns. This was announced in an interview with TASS by the head of the Guinetropk of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General of the Police Andrei Kurnosenko.
Kurnovko emphasized that “this digital project has already been implemented and is successfully functioning” – during the use of the service, positive results have already been recorded. According to the general, the service allows you to effectively evaluate information about the “financial risks of the economy” throughout Russia, and also demonstrates the results of the implementation of national projects.
This tool shows work in the field of the forestry complex, housing and communal services, defense industry, cybercrime and other directions, the head of the department added.
In addition, the system of monitoring of cryptocurrency transactions is integrated into the system. According to Kurnosenko, “there is already a positive experience in using this tool to identify unscrupulous owners of cryptocurrencies.”
