In the very masculine world of the merchant navy, the fight against gender -based and sexual violence meets opposite winds. On November 18, a pupil of the US Mercihant Marine Academy, the American merchant naval school, revealed that he had been the victim, in 2021, of sexual harassment and touching during his training on board the Alliance-Fairfax , a vehicle transport ship, owned by the Danish shipowner Maersk.
