According to the official, attackers are revealed by an increase in energy consumption in the house and a change in the load profile. Suspicions can be caused by a situation in which a tenant, for example, consumes more than 30-40% of the expenditure of a multi-apartment building, as well as due to a sharp increase in electricity consumption. In this case, the inspector is sent to the apartment for verification.
After that, the owner of equipment for mining is either a new account for the price of electricity for business, or appeals to the court, Skikars noted.
According to the publication, it is known at least about 10 cases of successful collection of funds from miners who decided to earn “at home”.
