Russian software developers have chosen three domestic operating systems to ensure compatibility with them software.
This was announced by Natalya Kasperskaya, the prescription of the Association of Developers of Software Products “Domestic Software”. “There was a survey, as far as I know, three operating systems were selected simply by the degree of occurrence,” TASS quotes her.
The head of the Association of Software Developers, Natalya Kasperskaya explained that the developers chose Alt Linux, Astra Linux and Red OS.
Among mobile platforms, representatives of the IT industry called the most promising “Aurora”, the development of which is the OOO “Open Mobile Platform” (belongs to Rostelecom).
Kaspersky also emphasized that in Russia it makes no sense to develop a large number of its operating systems.
Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation, Maksut Shadaev, said that the ministry proposed to developers included in the Unified Register of Russian Poe, to choose three domestic OSs until the end of 2022 to ensure the compatibility of their programs for these OS. After the developers make a choice, they promised to establish that by a certain date, certain products that are in the register should be compatible with certain operating systems.
