The Center for Strategic Development (CSR) invited the Government of the Russian Federation to control foreign investment in an IT company. It is reported by “Kommersant”.
According to the publication, the experts of the CSR propose to coordinate the investments of foreign citizens in the IT company and “significant corporate actions” – the transfer of infrastructure abroad, alienation of the rights or part of the business, the appointment of foreigners to the board of directors and another – with the right -to -committee on investment.
According to representatives of the industry, new measures will help maintain investment attractiveness for a Russian IT sector, for example for eastern investors.
The Ministry of Economy noted that this approach can be used in various fields where foreign influence is needed.
