Unsurprisingly, prices at the pump flew last week in France, after the drop in state and total discounts, according to government figures published Monday, November 21.

Gasoli sold at a national average price of 1.9059 euros per liter in service station, or 10.39 cents more than the previous week, according to figures from the Ministry of Ecological Transition arrested on Friday. In some stations, the price of diesel even exceeded 2 euros per liter.

Lead-free gasoline 95-E10 increased by 13.40 cents and appeared in station at 1.7514 euros per liter on average. The Sans-Plomb 95 cost 1.7828 euros per liter on average, up 9.73 cents.

Two discounts of 10 cents until December 31 2>

The increase in prices is mainly linked to the decline on Wednesday, November 16, discounts hitherto in force. That of 30 euro cents, funded by the State since 1 er September, has been reduced to 10 cents. The total group has passed its own from 20 to 10 cents. These two discounts of 10 cents will remain in force until December 31

For 2023, the government provides targeted aid on certain motorists “who find it difficult to reach both ends,” said the Minister Delegate in charge of Public Accounts, Gabriel Attal, without providing more details. Before these plane strokes, the French service stations were assailed by motorists anxious to benefit from higher discounts. Many of them then lacked at least one fuel and some were completely dry, particularly in Ile-de-France and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.
