retaliatory measures against ‘Aiea

Sunday evening, Iran announced that it has taken retaliation measures against the International Atomic Energy Agency (AIEA), following a resolution of the latter criticizing the lack of cooperation of Tehran, presented by the United States and three European countries (United Kingdom, France and Germany).

Negotiations to relaunch the 2015 agreement, known under its English acronym JCPOA, concluded between Iran, the European Union and six major powers, including the United States, are at a standstill.

“In addition, in the second action in response to resolution, Iran injected gas into two other IR-2M and IR-4 cascades on the Natanz site,” said the ISNA. This rise in power occurs while the IAEA is faced with a clear restriction of its inspections on site.
